3. LINKS Training Center will be offering Parent/Mentor Support Group the 4th Monday of each month from 10:30am-12:30pm at formerly Bagel’s Alaska Dining Room off Palmer-Wasilla Highway
All parents of children with disabilities are encouraged to come and meet others that would like to give and/or receive support. Bring lunch or a snack.
LINKS Training Center will be offering Children’s Game Night the 2nd Friday of each month from 6:00am-8:00pm. This is open to children with disabilities up to age 14 and their parents/caregivers only, no siblings please. You may bring a snack to share and a game your child enjoys. No handheld electronics, as we want to give our children a chance to learn social skills in a safe and fun environment.

5. Public Open House: CoDI is opening a Family Resource Center for the community that will complementary to LINKs, AYFN, and all the providers and agencies in the Valley. It is an extension of the Bring the Kids Home Project. The Open House is on April 23, 2010 from 4-8 pm at 7610 Palmer Wasilla Highway on Wagon Road (a stop light before Trunk on the Wasilla side) we will have the new facility and programming outlines for the public. You will see flyers and advertising.
